As we step into April, it’s hard to believe how quickly time flies. Here at Lumina, we’re celebrating the progress we’ve made and the exciting plans ahead. Since our last blog post in November, we’ve experienced tremendous growth, overcome challenges, and refined our systems for an even more successful 2025. In this blog, I’ll share some of the exciting updates and goals we’re working on for the year!
Our Growth So Far
2024 was a huge year for Lumina Corporate Housing. We started strong with a few properties and are now scaling rapidly. In March 2025 alone, we hit an impressive revenue mark of $40,000! We’ve learned a ton over the past year—everything from optimizing our Airbnb listings to streamlining our property management systems. The work we’ve put into refining our operations is paying off, and now it’s time to ramp things up.
The Next Big Step: Expanding Our Portfolio
One of our biggest goals for 2025 is to continue expanding. We’re excited to announce that we’re planning to bring on our fourth property soon! It’s going to be a game-changer for us, and we’re gearing up for more growth by the summer. Our target is to scale to at least five units by mid-year, giving us a stronger presence in Tampa, where we’ve seen the most demand.
Exploring New Markets: Miami
While scaling our existing properties is a priority, we’re also looking beyond Tampa to expand our reach. Recently, we’ve been exploring the multi-family unit market in Miami. With its thriving tourism and high demand for short-term rental properties, Miami is an ideal location for our next big move. It’s exciting to think about the new opportunities this could bring for Lumina, and we’re currently on the lookout for the perfect properties to partner with.
Refining Our Systems
One of the most important aspects of growing a business is ensuring that the foundation is solid. Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling and working on improving Lumina’s customer satisfaction and internal systems. I wanted to make sure that before we bring on more properties, everything—from booking management to guest communication—is running smoothly.
It’s been a learning process, but I’m confident that we’re now ready to scale with efficiency. Our team is fully equipped, and we’ve automated much of our process, which means we can focus more on growth without getting bogged down by day-to-day tasks.
Looking Ahead
With 2025 already showing so much promise, I’m incredibly excited to see where the rest of the year takes us. From adding new properties to exploring new markets and continuing to streamline our systems, the future of Lumina is brighter than ever. I’m looking forward to documenting this journey and sharing it with you all through more blogs, videos, and updates.
